License

This license applies to the Press Index Family files included with the PressIndexFamily-2.0.0-rc1.zip package.

Plain-English Summary

You may install Press Index Family, use it in your own design work, use it in client work, and self-host the included webfonts on one website.

You may not share, resell, upload, redistribute, sublicense, or include the raw font files in another product, template, app, game, SaaS product, font product, dataset, or downloadable asset pack unless MG Type gives written permission or you buy an extended license.

Standard License

After purchase, MG Type grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Press Index Family. The standard license covers one purchaser: one individual, or one named employee/contractor for a business purchase.

If more people need to install or directly use the font files, each person needs their own license unless MG Type agrees to a separate team license in writing.

Allowed Uses

You may use Press Index Family for logos, posters, covers, packaging, labels, social images, video titles, motion graphics, product mockups, catalogues, pitch decks, editorial layouts, and client work where the client receives final artwork rather than raw font files.

You may self-host the included WOFF and WOFF2 files on one website owned or controlled by you or your client.

Uses That Need Written Permission

The standard license does not cover apps, games, SaaS products, plugins, embedded devices, editable templates, website themes, design kits, Canva/Figma/template products, print-on-demand products, asset packs, broadcast packages, OEM, enterprise, multi-seat, high-volume platform use, font modification for redistribution, sublicensing, resale, sharing, public repository upload, or AI/ML training data use.

Release-Candidate Scope

Press Index Family 2.0.0-rc1 includes Press Index Mono and Press Index Display. It is intended for display use, catalogue systems, labels, covers, titles, product/spec lockups, and similar short-text settings. It does not promise future styles, broader language support, custom glyphs, app embedding, template redistribution, or compatibility with every workflow.

Refunds, Law, And Contact

Refunds are handled under the refund policy. This license is governed by the laws of Finland, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules in the customer's country provide stronger rights that cannot be waived.
